Electromagnetic Wave Scattering from a Moving Medium with Stationary Interface across the Interluminal Regime

چکیده

This paper extends current knowledge on electromagnetic wave scattering from bounded moving media in several regards. First, it complements the usual dispersion relation of media, ?(?k) (?k: phase velocity direction, associated with vector, k), equally important impedance relation, ?(?S) (?S: group Poynting S). Second, explains interluminal-regime phenomenon double-downstream transmission across a stationary interface between regular medium and medium, assuming motion perpendicular to interface, shows that related waves are symmetric terms energy refraction angle, while being asymmetric one subject negative refraction, impedances two transmitted equal. Third, generalizes problem case where moves obliquely respect interface. Finally, highlights connection this spacetime modulated medium.
